NHS will be rounding out another year with a free Trade Expo on Thursday October 19 at the Newcastle Jockey Club at Broadmeadow. With over 50 exhibitors lined up, there will be plenty to see on the day between 3pm and 7pm.

Jason Crockett, general manager of NHS, believes in the real value of offering a trade expo to tradies.

“In an age where everything is moving toward the digital space, it’s great to be able to bring people together to focus on the industry in a fantastic local Newcastle venue,” Jason said.

“Given how crucial it is for tradespeople to be at the forefront of their area of expertise, an expo like this is a means of showcasing the exciting product developments the industry has seen throughout the year.

“The NHS Trade Expo is designed to provide the builders and tradies of our region with information about new products, hands-on demos and allow them to chat face-to-face with over 50 leading building material and tool manufacturers.”

The expo is designed to bring the region’s tradies up to speed on what’s happening in the industry and let them see what some of the leading manufacturers have been working on.

“It also allows us to put exhibitors in touch with the end user of their products and facilitates some great conversations about solutions to unique site issues. As brand relationships are crucial in the trade, creating awareness and being able to chat with local tradies proves to be very valuable for all of our exhibitors,” Jason said.

Attendees can expect to see a diverse range of trades represented at the event, including builders, carpenters, plasterers, bathroom renovators, renderers, floor layers, shop fitters and maintenance workers.

Jason said he is dedicated to providing a quality experience for his customers.

“Our customers are part of the NHS family! We hope they find our Trade Expo to be an enjoyable and useful learning experience, shared with their peers in a relaxed atmosphere,” Jason said.

By attending the NHS Trade Expo, registered attendees can receive 1 CPD point for each hour they are there. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a requirement for licensed builders to help ensure their knowledge, skills and expertise are up to date.

There will be a free BBQ, drinks and live entertainment at the venue. In addition, the winner of the NHS Win a Harley promotion will be drawn at the Expo and there will be many other prizes to be won.
