Out of the Square believes Newcastle and the Hunter is a region ready for investment, living and business.
The ideas agency has produced a self-funded video that showcases statistics and key assets of the region, available for all to use for free.
Out of the Square created the resource to empower people with the tools to promote the Hunter region and its businesses. Managing Director, Martin Adnum said making it free ensures no one is excluded from doing their best with it.
“This video can be used as a supporting vehicle to encourage new skills to the region, seek government funding, encourage head offices to move here, attract overseas students, win contracts, market properties and to say how damn proud we are to live here,” Martin said.
“Newcastle Airport and a handful of other passionate organisations are doing what they can to help grow our region’s share of funding, and improve lifestyle and employment opportunities. This is our independent contribution to those efforts.”
The video is available for sharing digitally and to download and use for presentations or on websites. Out of the Square is also offering to create a customised version to suit specific needs.
“Newcastle and the Hunter contributes over $47billion into the national economy, more than that of ACT, NT and Tasmania,” Martin said.
“Yet we don’t always get our proportionate share in return. So much more is possible by promoting ourselves better, embracing new technology, innovating and collaborating without a ‘what’s in it for me approach’.
“We truly are a region ready. It is our time.”
