The Jenkins Legal Services team are currently celebrating Senior Associate, Sam Slack-Smith, on his recent accreditation.
This achievement saw Sam become a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law, which demonstrates an impressive dedication and commitment to work and growth in the law industry.
As an Accredited Specialist, Sam is a practising solicitor who demonstrates specialised competence in an area of law and has been conferred Specialist Accreditation by the Law Society under its Specialist Accreditation Scheme.
The Scheme helps the public identify solicitors who have demonstrated superior proficiency in a area of law.
To receive accreditation, you must undergo a challenging structured peer to peer assessment process. Specialists must pass a series of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice.
To retain such accreditation, specialists must undertake significant additional professional development in their area of expertise each year.
Legal Director at Jenkins Legal, Micah Jenkins, is an Accredited Specialist in Business Law and sees Sam’s achievement as the perfect complement to this.
“Naturally, a Property Law Accredited Specialist provides a high-quality service for our property investment, construction and development clients,” Micah said.
“Having both Business and Property Law Accredited Specialists also gives Jenkins Legal Services the edge in the commercial law arena where the two areas of law so often overlap.
“In that regard, we are a one-stop shop for everything business, from business structuring and acquisitions, to commercial leasing, contracting and IP protection and commercialisation, employment law, commercial litigation, succession planning and insolvency,” Micah concluded.
The Jenkins Legal team are thrilled to be celebrating this internal win and believe this will help their business to better service the community in these specialist areas of law.
