The first battle for business bragging rights for 2018 saw Adamstown-based local buyer’sagency, Property Solutions 101, take on Lambton’s Kelly’s Finance Group in the gruelling water-balloon catapult catch.
The light-hearted clash was hard-fought with Property Solutions 101 the eventual victors, but theultimate winner is the Evolution Charity Cup supporting the Mark Hughes Foundation.
The PS101 Charity Challenge brings Hunter businesses together in support of local charities.
Previous challenges have included a burger eating competition, a game of basketball HORSE,old-school handball and a stand-up paddle board battle.
The brainchild of Property Solutions 101’s Director, Kylie Frearson said the PS101 Challenge is allabout having fun, bringing teams together, networking with other local businesses andsupporting Newcastle’s amazing charities.
“This time around we’re supporting the Evolution Charity Cup 2018, which is a tag team stylesurfing competition that will be held in conjunction with Surfest on 23 February 2018 to benefitthe Mark Hughes Foundation,” Kylie said.
“All money raised supports brain cancer research,heightens awareness and supports brain cancer patients and their families within the community.”
Kelly’s Finance Group Director, Paul Long said the concept of the challenge was a simple, but an effective way to give back to the local community.
“We all had such a fantastic time competing against the team at Property Solutions 101 and it’sgreat to get together and do something fun knowing that we’re helping to make a difference topeople’s lives,” Paul said.
“We can’t wait to go up against more local businesses in future PS101 Charity Challenges. It’s allin the name of fun and supporting great local charities,” Kylie concluded.
