Specialist brand agency, The Brand Pool has appointed Georgina Hannekum as its new Head of Digital.
In her new appointment, Georgina will spearhead The Brand Pools’ growth and evolution in digital. She will bring her extensive experience managing and executing digital strategy and content creation for a range of local and international brands, including Virgin Australia, Greater Bank and Myer.
Georgina is a digital leader with over 15 years’ experience in digital and most recently held leadership roles within local and national businesses, including Out of the Square, Bauer Media and Clemenger BBDO.
Managing Director of The Brand Pool, Lynn Poole said she was delighted to have Georgina join the team.
“Her experience and track record in digital makes her the perfect fit for us and will add a strong advantage to our digital offering,” Lynn said.

Georgina holds a MA in Virtual Communications from RMIT University and a BA in Visual Communications from the University of Technology, and now calls Newcastle home.
