Alex Hardy of Prosperity Advisers Group has become the only Australian to receive international recognition by being named one of the Emerging Leaders for 2018 by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
The panel of internal audit professionals who selected 15 emerging leaders from around the globe were impressed by the passion for both the technical specifics and broad scope of work of those honoured on the list.
The judges report said that this year’s group of young leaders is exceptional. They said the standout practitioners exude talent, approach their work with passion, and are driven toward continuous improvement.
This isn’t the first accolade Alex has been awarded this year – he also won the Young Leaders in Finance Award and was promoted to Associate Director at Prosperity.
Alex said he was humbled by the recognition received from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
“It’s a special feeling. The validation of being included in an international list for all of the things we do on a day-to-day basis and the strategies we are putting in place for the future makes me very proud of the team at Prosperity,” Alex said.
CEO and Founder of Prosperity Advisers Group, Allan McKeown said the recognition was well deserved.
“We are very proud to have Alex as part of the Prosperity team and are delighted that his hard work, knowledge and passion for his clients has been recognised,” Allan said.
Those recognised on the Emerging Leaders list are acknowledged for their extraordinary display of innovation, business acumen and passion for the profession.
The Institute of Internal Auditors have shared that the 2018 class expects to play a meaningful role in their organisations’ operations and success, to be sought out as trusted advisors, to track trends inside and outside their enterprises, to provide key data and insights to management on strategic issues, and to assist in assessing the results of their organisations’ efforts.
