A decade looks good on local marketing agency, The Marketing GP

Carrington based marketing agency, The Marketing GP has turned inwards to overhaul their brand to mark ten years in business.

Having started as a one-person show back in 2012 under the name Just Holly and with Holly Martin being the sole employee, the business has evolved significantly over the years to become a Hunter success story.

Still at the helm as Managing Director, Holly has now expanded the business to a team of 18 marketing generalists and specialists under the name The Marketing GP.

To mark the business’ growth and success, The Marketing GP is now sporting a new brand that encapsulates their purpose to reduce the complexity around business marketing.

Holly said the evolved brand is reflective of the business’ approach to pulling together all pieces of the marketing puzzle, rather than focusing on a niche.

“As a company we are forever evolving and transforming to meet new market needs. For us to sell the marketing services we do, our brand and agency needs to remain current and relevant as well,” Holly said.

“The new logo represents three key pieces – a puzzle, a speech bubble, and a maze. We chose this look because our team are problem solvers for our clients and don’t always take the normal path if we know it will be best for their business. We are general practitioners who ensure all pieces of the marketing puzzle fit together.

“The logo was also designed intentionally to represent a speech bubble, because at the core of what we do is communication.”

The other significant shift to the brand is the unveiling of a new suite of colours.

“While white and black are our core branding colours, we’ve added in a suite of bright colours that align with each of our service lines and are reflective of our culture within the business. Our team are marketing specialists with vast experience and unique backgrounds and expertise, and you’ll discover that when you peel back the layers of who we are.”

Whilst The Marketing GP’s new brand is a fresh revamp of their previous look, Holly is clear that the values the business has held since day one are still very much at the heart of how the team works.

“We are focused on remaining true to our values, the strong team culture that many know us for, and our commitment to diagnosing and providing effective treatments to help businesses grow through their marketing,” Holly said.

Holly said that the rebrand was a passion project and a true collaboration, with the graphic designers leading the way and supported by the expertise of the wider team.
