Pitcher Partners celebrates one-year anniversary of merger

Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the merger that formed Newcastle and the Hunter’s largest accounting, audit, and business advisory firm.

The milestone was celebrated in the Newcastle and Maitland offices to recognise the achievements of the team over the past year.

Reflecting on the union between Pitcher Partners and DFK Crosbie, Managing Partner, Michael Minter said that the firm is proud to offer tax, audit, wealth, and business advisory firm to the region.

“The businesses and organisations we work with have access to expertise and knowhow from a network of firms across Australia and around the world,” Michael said.

“The merger has provided greater scale to enable growth and strengthened our presence in the region.

“The amalgamation has made a great collaboration of talent, experience, and values, with a united vision of putting clients and the community first to build a foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial growth.

“Merging two significant practices has been no mean feat, with inevitable hurdles along with way, but here we are a year later stronger and better than before with endless potential for growth.

“Our strength is our people; each of our team has contributed to the transition with great positivity and energy. Together we have a united focus of providing exceptional personalised service to clients.”

Both Pitcher Partners and DFK Crosbie have served the community for over 50 years providing businesses with tailored advice across business advisory, tax, audit, self-managed super funds, wealth management, and finance.

The merged firm provides specialist knowledge supporting a diverse range of industry sectors including hospitality, family and privately owned businesses, manufacturing, transport, medical, property and construction, as well as not-for-profit and aged care.
