Collective Financial Partners has announced the addition of Senior Financial Planner, David Leslie to its team. David joins a group of seasoned wealth professionals at the Hunter-based financial services firm, including Dan Irving, David Woodcock, and Anthony Foy.
With eighteen years of experience behind him, David brings a robust skill set to Collective Financial Partners, including financial planning, retirement planning, tax strategies, and investment management.
David’s journey into financial planning began when, at ten years old, he experienced firsthand the emotional stress and financial strain caused by the collapse of the family business. He didn’t know it then, but this experience ignited his desire for financial security and later inspired him to help others with financial advice.
Today, David nurtures a diverse client base, ranging from C-suite executives and business owners to tech entrepreneurs, retirees, and families. He’s known for his ability to simplify complex financial concepts, making them accessible and understandable. “My role is to understand a client’s situation and ambitions thoroughly, then apply my technical knowledge to help them make informed decisions with full transparency,” David said.
David is enthusiastic about joining Collective Financial Partners and looks forward to leveraging the team’s skills and resources to provide the personalised, person-centred advice he is passionate about.
Daniel Irving, Director and Principal Financial Planner at Collective Financial Partners, is enthusiastic about David’s arrival. “We’re thrilled to welcome Dave. He’s an ideal fit for us,” he said.
“His experience and dedication to client service align perfectly with our values at Collective. We have no doubt that his financial planning approach will enhance our service offering.”
Dan also highlighted David’s significant role in Collective’s growth strategy. “Dave is another important piece in our growth strategy. His wealth management expertise and ability to connect with clients and deliver results will play a crucial role in our future.”
David leads an active life outside of work with his partner and two children. His mornings begin with early workouts, and he enjoys DIY projects, working towards a black belt in Taekwondo and mountain biking.
