The Mutual Bank team members named finalists in NSW Training Awards

The NSW Training Awards has announced three of The Mutual Bank’s leading team members as finalists in the Financial Services category for the Hunter region.

The Mutual Bank’s Hannah Wheeler (Marketing Officer), Zac Baylis (Acting Member Processing Supervisor) and Capri Archer (Member Service Officer) are among the finalists announced by Training Services NSW.

Conducted annually, these prestigious awards recognise outstanding achievements in vocational education and training.

Finalists are selected through a rigorous interview process and are judged locally by the Hunter Regional Apprenticeship and Traineeship Advisory Committee.

The Mutual Bank CEO, Geoff Seccombe, said that this representation highlights The Mutual Bank’s ongoing commitment to staff development and training.

“The Mutual Bank has a longstanding history of providing training and professional development opportunities for staff members,” Geoff said.

“Having a culture of continuous learning is one way that we ensure our employees are fulfilled at work and equipped with the skills to provide the highest quality of customer service to our members. I take this opportunity to congratulate Hannah, Zac and Capri on their wonderful achievement.”

The three finalists from The Mutual Bank will go head to head at a virtual awards ceremony held on Monday 22 June 2020.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live, nationwide, on the NSW Training Awards Facebook page.

Finalist Hannah Wheeler said that she is proud to make it to the final of the NSW Training Awards – Hunter Region alongside her colleagues from The Mutual Bank.

“I’m so happy to share this achievement with my colleagues. They are excellent ambassadors of The Mutual Bank and great at what they do,” Hannah said.

“Sharing this experience makes it all the more rewarding. I am humbled to have progressed as a top three finalist alongside Zac and Capri.”
