Maxwell Recruitment & Training has officially opened its new premises at 14 Callistemon Close, Warabrook, marking a significant infrastructure investment in the company’s 15-year history. The custom-designed facility is intended to increase the firm’s capacity to deliver labour hire and technical training services to the Hunter region’s heavy industry sectors.
The new site provides expanded floor space for both the labour hire and training divisions, alongside upgraded equipment and safety training facilities. Beyond its operational functions, the headquarters includes a gym, ice bath, and sauna for staff, as well as dedicated amenities for the several thousand students who undergo training with the provider annually.
Managing Director of Maxwell Recruitment & Training, Peter Maxwell said the facility represents the company’s commitment to workforce development.
“Our workers are our business, and this new facility is a physical manifestation of our belief in Helping People Win At Work”, Peter said.
“We wanted to create an environment that inspires our team and provides our students and apprentices with the very best facilities in the region. This move allows us to build our capacity and capability from within, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the recruitment and training space.”
The project was completed in collaboration with Webber Architects and Kingston Building to meet the company’s specific requirements for high-volume student throughput and integrated recruitment operations. The relocation follows more than a decade of the firm operating within the same industrial precinct, positioned to service the Hunter’s manufacturing and mining supply chains.
By centralising its operations in the new Warabrook facility, Maxwell Recruitment & Training aims to streamline its recruitment processes and enhance the delivery of high-quality safety training. Peter said the move is a strategic step toward the further growth and expansion of the business.
