PRDnationwide Newcastle & Lake Macquarie has bolstered its team with a local professional known in the real estate industry and a former “real NRL” referee, according to its Principal.

Mark Kentwell has announced that former Partner at Harper Property Agents, Ryan Nichols, has switched sides to join his team as a residential Sales Agent.

Mark said Ryan is a consummate real estate professional who applies his knack for reading people to the art of negotiation in the constant pursuit of achieving the best outcome for his clients.

He said Ryan is quick with a smile and laugh, but his easy-going nature does not mean he is a push over.

“Ryan works hard for his selling clients, whilst delivering great customer service to buyers,” Mark said.

“He has a wonderful way of bringing deals together with a win/win feel.”

Born and bred in Newcastle, Ryan joined the real estate industry in 2008.

Ryan said he believed PRDnationwide Newcastle & Lake Macquarie has set a benchmark in the Hunter region for real estate excellence.

“In real estate and in sport, I love being a part of a winning, results focused team,” Ryan said.

“Having watched PRD’s growth from the outside for many years, it is great to now be working inside the company, backed by a talented team, leading edge technology and high impact marketing.”

Sports mad, Ryan has rugby league in his blood. After playing most sports as a young man he was offered a position as a rugby league referee. After 10 years of service, he was named the youngest ever Life Member of the Newcastle Referee Association.

In his downtime, Ryan enjoys time with his family at a Newcastle Knights game or at one of Newcastle’s many renowned cafes.

“Newcastle is the best big little city in the world,” Ryan said.
