In a celebration of philanthropy and camaraderie, Daracon Group marks a significant milestone as they participate in their 25thyear of the NSW Variety Bash.
Since their inception into this charitable journey in the late 1990s, Daracon has been a keen supporter of the cause, embodying the spirit of giving and community engagement.
Having surpassed their initial fundraising target of $100,000 this year, Daracon Group has once again demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact.
Over the past quarter-century, their efforts have amassed $1,750,000, garnered through workplace giving, sponsor donations, and active involvement within the business community.
This year, CRE Insurance and Winten Property Group have each contributed $20,000 to the cause to support Daracon Car 10 and Variety NSW.
The NSW Variety Bash is a labour of love each and every year and Daracon Group donate not only funds but also their time, staff, labour, and all associated costs related to the Bash, including registration fees and accommodations.
Reflecting on their journey, Team Captain and Director of Business Development, Adam Kelly said their 25 years of support has been very special.
“Our involvement in the Variety Bash NSW has been deeply fulfilling, knowing that we are contributing to the wellbeing of children in need,” Adam said.
“It’s remarkable to witness the collective impact we’ve made over the years, and we are immensely proud to continue this tradition of giving back to our community, especially in a milestone business year for us as we ring in 40 years of operation and 25 years of bashing!”
The impact of bashers like Daracon Group is evident in the remarkable fundraising achievements of Variety NSW/ACT in the 2022/23 financial year.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Variety NSW/ACT was able to provide an astounding $3,880,000 to assist children in need. This positively impacted over 27,700 children and included the distribution of 341 grants across NSW and the ACT.
As Daracon Group embarks on another year of charitable endeavors, they extend an invitation for others to join their cause through Workplace Giving, emphasising that it’s never too late to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
