Collective Financial Partners continue growth trajectory with new appointment

Hunter-based financial advisory and accounting firm, Collective Financial Partners has announced the appointment of Financial Planner, Anthony Foy.

The appointment of Anthony comes off the back of Collective Financial Partner’s team and service growth over the course of 2023.

Anthony has over 12 years of experience and was previously with Morgans Newcastle & Morgans Port Macquarie. With Morgans Newcastle, Anthony was a Senior Financial Planner, Director, and Head of Financial Planning.

Director and Financial Planner of Collective Financial Partners, Daniel Irving said Anthony brings a breadth of knowledge to the team and will facilitate the expansion of Collective Financial Partners’ financial planning strategies, tax planning, estate planning and portfolio management services.

“Anthony’s expertise and vast knowledge in financial planning will undoubtedly be an asset to the team. I’ve worked with Anthony personally with mutual clients and can attest to his excellent work ethic,” Daniel said.

“We know he’s going to become an integral part of our team and help us continue to grow our client base, while still providing quality outcomes for our clients.”

Anthony holds a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and Financial Planning and is currently completing his Master of Financial Planning.

“I take pride in ensuring our clients are confident and informed about their finances and I look forward to bringing that personalised approach to the team,” Anthony said.

A focus on delivering high-level advice for clients that incorporates financial strategies along with tailored investment options attracted Anthony to team up with Daniel again at Collective.

“Collective Financial Partners focus on providing quality outcomes to all our clients, no matter the financial scenario.

“This really resonated with me and how I like to approach creating and implementing financial strategies,” Anthony said.

“I’m really looking forward to working with the team to leverage off the skills and knowledge within the business and bring some of my own skills and experience to the table.”

Collective Financial Partners was formed in 2021 from a merger of two long-established and well-respected financial services firms, Bridges Lake Macquarie, and WP Partners.

Between them, the principals of the new entity offer over 80 years of collective experience. The team offers expert accountants, financial planners, tax advisors and business strategists, with an overall goal of helping their clients achieve financial success.

“We’ve been on quite the growth trajectory with a rebrand and acquisition of a business in the last two years, and having Anthony join our team is going to create a lot of opportunities for us to continue to grow,” Daniel said.

Anthony has been taking clients as of 1 September 2023.
