Boolaroo-based financial planning firm, Bridges Lake Macquarie has welcomed Trainee Paraplanner, Sam Howard, to its ranks.
Originally from Singleton, Sam has returned to the Hunter region since recently graduating from Macquarie University where he attained a Bachelor of Applied Finance (Hons.).
During his studies, Sam gained valuable experience as a Client Adviser with NAB in Sydney.
Bridges Lake Macquarie Director, Daniel Irving said Sam is an excellent addition to the team.
“Sam’s academic acumen coupled with the experience he gained working in the financial services industry during his study established him as the ideal young professional to join us,” Daniel said.
“So far during his time with Bridges Lake Macquarie he has demonstrated an excellent work ethic, an eagerness to learn and a real affinity with our clients.”
When not supporting Bridges’ senior advisors and their work with clients, Sam can be found on the AFL field playing for the Singleton Roosters and running marathons.
“I am really pleased to be kick-starting my career in the Hunter and with a such a tight-knit group,” Sam said.
“The depth of experience amongst the team is impressive and that’s giving me a solid base to put into practice the knowledge I gained during my studies.
“And I love being back in the Hunter region,” he added.
“While I enjoyed being exposed to the big guns of the Sydney financial scene, my focus is firmly on getting to know our individual clients and joining them on their journey to achieving the best possible outcome.”
