Two Hunter-based bookkeeping firms, Booksmart and Biz Synergy have joined forces to become Beam Bookkeeping, now one of the largest bookkeeping firms in NSW.
The merger between Booksmart and Biz Synergy came at a busy time in the industry, as the two teams came together and flourished while dealing with increased demand, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the work-from-home work/life juggle.
Together, Katie McCool (previously from Booksmart) and Debbie Mirisch (previously from Biz Synergy) are looking forward to delivering a personalised, flexible, zero-stress bookkeeping service that supports business owners and frees up their time to focus on their business and living life.
“Our smart, energetic, and fun team share the same values and approach to client service. We care about our clients and their books; it was the perfect fit to come together,” Katie said.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge and industry experience together, Beam Bookkeeping will deliver the unmatched service and quality the two businesses have been providing for over 10 years.
They will continue to operate out of two office locations in Hunter St, Newcastle and Church St, Maitland and have strong personal and business relationships throughout the Hunter and beyond bringing benefits to all stakeholders.
Both businesses have a firmly established reputation for providing bookkeeping and BAS agent services to small and medium sized businesses with a strong presence in the hospitality, construction, health/pharmacy, and professional service industries.
Beam Bookkeeping is a Xero gold partner, and the team are Xero certified. They also provide a complete service to clients with MYOB, QuickBooks, Netsuite and other platforms.
The new branding of Beam Bookkeeping evolved from the core values and outcomes Katie and Debbie wanted for the merger. Juggling life and business is like walking a balance beam.
The team are looking forward to helping clients achieve balanced books and a balanced life – so they can live big and smile bigger.
They have a teaser page as a website at the moment. It is a steppingstone to a full site that will house key information about their business, what they can offer, and useful tips and hints with a regularly updated blog page.
“We hope you love our new brand as much as we do. We feel it represents our values and how we want our clients to feel as a result of working with us,” Debbie concluded.
