Beam Bookkeeping is a Local Business Awards finalist

Local bookkeeping firm, Beam Bookkeeping has collected another award nomination following the announcement they are finalists in the Local Business Awards for the Hunter region.
Nominated in the Professional Services category, Beam Bookkeeping will go up against several other businesses at the awards evening scheduled for Friday 3 September at NEX – Newcastle Exhibition Centre.

Earlier this year the firm was awarded the 2024 Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Accounting Bookkeeping Services category. The Newcastle based business was also recognised as highly commended at the Business Hunter Awards in Excellence in Small Business, and highly commended at the Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards for Customer Service earlier this year.

Managing Director, Katie McCool said she was proud to see their team’s hard work recognised at multiple, highly regarded award events.
“We are extremely proud to see what we’ve achieved as a combined business in such a short time, and to have our hard work recognised in the community regularly,” Katie said.

“The Local Business Awards nomination has been the cherry on top for a great year of delivering quality services to our clients across the Hunter region and Port Stephens.”

The Local Business Awards finalists are chosen from public votes and nominations, and with a rapidly growing client base, Beam Bookkeeping were blown away by the support of the community.
“You can’t be nominated as a finalist without a significant number of votes, so we’re extremely grateful to our clients and supporters, as well as our growing community who voted for us,” Katie said.

The local firm has achieved notable success in all areas of business and bookkeeping service delivery since establishing in 2021. Alongside their award wins, the team have achieved Xero Platinum Partner Status, a recognition of the company’s excellence and commitment to high standards in the industry. They have also been accredited as a certified Happy Workplace with BU Happiness College.

Beam Bookkeeping offers tailored services for businesses and is one of the largest bookkeeping service providers in the Hunter region and in NSW.
They believe their commitment to helping businesses balance their books with people-first policies will continue to help their business grow across the Hunter and beyond.

In addition to their approach to bookkeeping, Director Debbie Mirisch believes their award nominations and wins will continue to showcase the work and efforts of their team.

“The recognition that comes with the Local Business Awards is extremely important for a young business like ours, and we hope this nomination will help us continue to grow our client reach across the Hunter region,” Debbie said.
