After 15 years of nourishing the local community and building a cherished local institution, Angelo and Samantha Tsiaousis have officially sold Sangerz, their popular takeaway business in Beresfield, and are moving on to new ventures.
What began as a small family-run operation grew to become a local favourite known for generous servings, great service, and home-style cooking. The decision to sell marks the end of an era for the couple, who started Sangerz to continue a family tradition and create something of their own.
“Running Sangerz has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives,” Angelo said. “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved here and grateful to have been part of this amazing community.”
Food and hospitality run deep in Angelo’s family, with his parents having operated their own takeaway business for many years. This background shaped his approach to Sangerz, with hard work, heart, and strong community connections.
The couple extends heartfelt thanks to loyal customers, dedicated staff, and supportive suppliers who helped make Sangerz a success.
“We couldn’t have done it without you,” Samantha said. “We’re so thankful for your support over the years. It’s been an honour to serve you.”
Sangerz now has new owners eager to continue providing delicious, hearty food to locals well into the future.
Though stepping away from Sangerz, Angelo and Samantha are not slowing down. With new ventures ahead, they look forward to the next chapter, bringing their experience to fresh opportunities.
