2025 Newcastle Hospitality & Tourism Awards: Nominations Now Open

2025 Newcastle Hospitality & Tourism Awards: Nominations Now Open

Nominations have officially opened for the 2025 Newcastle Hospitality & Tourism Awards, with this year’s event promising to be the most expansive yet. Organised by the Newcastle Tourism Industry Group (NTIG), the annual celebration of excellence in the visitor economy will feature 12 categories in 2025, up from previous years to better reflect the sector’s breadth and diversity.

NTIG Chair and CoastXP Founder, Dominic May, said the expanded awards reflect the strength and evolution of Newcastle’s tourism and hospitality industry.

“Year after year, these Awards honour the best of the best. For 2025, we’ve broadened the categories to truly capture the depth of talent, innovation, and service across our region,” Mr May said.

“We’ve also been heartened by the incredible support from industry sponsors, with every category now presented by a naming rights partner. That level of backing shows just how valued these Awards are and the shared commitment to recognising and celebrating excellence.”

The awards are open to operators across Newcastle’s visitor economy, from culinary leaders and accommodation providers to tourism experiences and rising stars.

Winners will be announced at the Newcastle Hospitality & Tourism Awards Gala on Monday, 19 May at the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club. The event promises a night of celebration, networking, and entertainment, with live music, quality food, and drinks included.
