Newcastle-based insurance specialist AFRM (Australian Financial Risk Management) has marked a major milestone this week, celebrating 28 years in business and announcing more than $360 million in claims paid to clients.
The company, headquartered in The Junction with a presence across Australia, also unveiled a fresh brand identity – its first rebrand since launching in 1997.
The new look reflects AFRM’s commitment to relationship-based insurance services, reinforcing the company’s reputation as a trusted partner during life’s toughest moments.
“Unfortunately, bad things in life happen sickness, injuries, accidents, and losing loved ones,” said Managing Director and Adviser, Rob Vitnell.
“If that happens, our clients are assured that they and their family are protected. When they’re at their darkest times, we’ve helped deliver financial security and relief from the burden of dealing with insurance companies. This means more energy for recovery and family during challenging times.”
AFRM’s approach centres on tailored advice and collaboration with other local professionals to deliver holistic support.
“With our strong roots in Newcastle, our network of financial advisers, accountants, and solicitors ensures convenient and comprehensive support for clients,” said Damien Jones, Director and General Manager.
The team’s milestone of $360 million in life insurance-related claims stands as a testament to their long-term impact, helping Australians navigate uncertainty with peace of mind.
