Local Hunter Street-based company, Rapsey Griffiths Turnaround + Advisory is celebrating 10 years in business this year.
Founded in 2013 by Directors Chad Rapsey and Mitch Griffiths, the company has gone from strength to strength over the past decade, supporting their clients through difficult financial situations across the Hunter and Australia-wide.
“What began as a team of two working from my kitchen table at home has grown to a team of 16 helping 100+ clients each year,” Chad said.
“When we first set our vision was to be a modern progressive insolvency and advisory firm, taking a soft collaborative approach. But this has evolved.
“As well as offering formal insolvency appointments such as liquidation, voluntary administration and bankruptcy, our focus is now on getting businesses back on track and solving complex problems.”
The extended scope of their work today includes special engagements, crisis management, consulting, and turnaround for solvent businesses, in close collaboration with clients and their accountants and lawyers.
Rapsey Griffiths will be marking their 10th anniversary at their annual breakfast event, which is being held at Fort Scratchleys, with guest speaker former aerial skiing champion and inspirational businesswoman Jacqui Cooper.
As part of the celebrations, they’re also platinum sponsors at this year’s Vegas themed 2023 Bean Counters Ball being held on Saturday 27 May, at the Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre
“We’re happy to be able to give back to the profession that has supported us along the way and look forward to what should be a fantastic night,” Mitch said about the upcoming sponsorship with Bean Counters Ball.
“We’re proud to be where we are today. But most of all, we’re grateful for the ongoing support of our clients, partners, team and families.”
