Businesses wanting to train and employ the next generation are invited to participate or attend the Newcastle Lake Macquarie Career and Training Expo.
Held annually, the Expo attracts over 4,000 students from across the region and is the largest event of its kind.
Presented by Career Links, in conjunction with the Hunter Region Career Adviser Network, the event attracts over 100 local and interstate exhibitors, including leading education and training providers and some of the Hunter’s largest employers.
The event provides organisations with the opportunity to speak directly with students, parents, teachers and Career Advisers and provide information about career and training options.
The University of Newcastle and Hunter TAFE have again joined forces as Major Sponsors, with Avondale College of Higher Education, The University of Southern Queensland and Defence Force Recruiting as supporting partners.
Career Links are currently taking exhibitor registrations for the 2014 Career & Training Expo. They are calling for registrations from Apprenticeship Centres, Career Support Services, Employers, Industry Groups, Group Training Companies and Registered Training Organisations.
Career Links is a community-focused organisation providing a range of programs and services, which connect young people with business, education, community and families.
