A leading Hunter financial planning firm has taken out a national Practice of the Year award for the second year running.
Hunter Financial was named best Total Financial Solutions Australia Group practice at the group’s conference in Fiji.
The Belmont-based firm beat 80 other practices nationwide to take out the award.
Hunter Financial Director and CEO, Brian Kennaugh, said the firm again won the award by scoring consistently high across all criteria.Brian said the award is due to the firm’s growing local client base as well as his team’s sound advice and superior customer service.
“For a regional firm to beat other high quality capital city firms that have been part of the Total Financial Solutions group for longer is a great achievement,” Brian said.
“We’ll be working hard to make it three in a row.
“We’re a new kind of financial planner. Our professional yet fun approach to helping clients to make smart financial decisions is resonating and bringing success for us and them.”
Brian and fellow Director, Phillip Smith took two of the firm’s staff, Taylor Davies and Amy Nosworthy, to Fiji for the conference as a development opportunity. Brian said all Total Financial Solutions Australia Group staff at the conference participated in a community day at a Fijian special needs school. He said the group’s staff raised $50,000 to help the school continue its great work with local kids.
