Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage continues to support WRHS during tough times

Despite the uncertainty and challenging times being faced by business, storage professional’s Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage have continued their support of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service for a further three years.

With the Service’s fundraising and event activity curtailed because of COVID-19, Safe ‘n’ SOUND’s commitment to supporting the Service has been welcomed by Service CEO, Richard Jones OAM.

Richard said the support of businesses such as Safe ‘n’ SOUND allows their Service to continue responding to a range of missions across Northern NSW.

“The Service regularly responds to a diverse range of missions throughout Northern NSW and this would not be possible without the continued support from generous corporate partners such as Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage,” Richard said.

“The partnership with Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage will make a significant impact on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, ensuring that the Service is ready to respond 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.”

For nearly 20 years Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage have provided storage units free of charge to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service on Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Port Macquarie.

Then in 2019, Owner of Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage, Steve Wile, extended on the donation of storage units’ to contribute financially and be recognised as a logo partner.

The new agreement through to 2023 once again includes provision of storage facilities, as well as a financial contribution to the Service’s operations.

As a result, Safe ‘n’ SOUND Self Storage’ logo will continue to sit proudly on both sides of aircraft operating out of Belmont.

Owner Steve Wile was pleased to be able to provide support to the Service through a long-term commitment in these uncertain times.

“The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service plays a critical role in providing safety and support to locals in need and they are needed now more than ever,” Steve said.

“Mindful of the challenges they are facing with fundraising, I felt it was important to provide a long term commitment to the Service and in doing so provide them with some certainty in these uncertain times.”
