Strategic communication and corporate affairs specialists Purser Corporate Communication (PCC) has further expanded with the appointment of Lizzie Snedden to the team.
Lizzie is experienced in government and community relations, strategic communication and event management as well as working with local, national and international media.
As a former communications manager with Coal Services, Lizzie helped to coordinate responses to major international events such as the Pike River Coal Mine explosion and International Mines Rescue Competition.
In her role as a community relations consultant, she specialised in the planning and execution of unique communications strategies to gain public acceptance and understanding of multi-million dollar infrastructure projects for private and government clients, such as the Hunter 8 Alliance.
Prior to joining PCC Lizzie worked for the former Member for Newcastle, successfully forging strong relationships with a diverse range of local stakeholders in the private, not-for-profit, sport, government and media arenas.
“PCC has a long standing reputation for delivering high quality, communication services and counts some of the Hunter’s most iconic organisations such as the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, The University of Newcastle and Hunter TAFE among its clients,” Lizzie said.
“I’m looking forward to helping our clients from all levels of business and industry as the region continues to build its reputation nationally and internationally.”
Managing Director Meg Purser said Lizzie’s appointment follows two others announced earlier this year.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Lizzie to the team and know she is going to play a valuable role in delivering the specialised communication services we provide,” Meg said.
