The Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards (HRBEA) has unveiled its finalists, highlighting the remarkable achievements and contributions of businesses across the Hunter region.

From innovative startups to established enterprises, the HRBEA recognises excellence in various sectors, showcasing the region’s vibrant business landscape.

This marks the 29th year of the HRBEA, a testament to its enduring legacy of celebrating excellence and fostering growth within the Hunter region’s business community.

Since its inception, the awards have evolved into a prestigious platform, honouring outstanding businesses and inspiring others to strive for greatness.

The Awards team at HRBEA said that each year the benchmark for submissions grows higher as you get an insider’s peek into the hard work and innovation happening within local businesses.

The level of excellence this year was no different, with 150 submissions received.

“We are thrilled to announce the finalists for the Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards,” the Awards Team said.

“Each finalist exemplifies the highest standard of business excellence, driving innovation, fostering growth, and making a positive impact on our community.”

Reflecting on their finalist recognition, Owner and Operator of Acrobat Removals, Jord Petersen said this was a nice surprise for their team.

“Despite the challenging economic climate and a slowdown in moves, we at Acrobat Removals and Storage are proud to be recognised for our dedication to exceptional service,” he said.

“This nomination not only acknowledges our hard work but also allows us to reaffirm our commitment to rebuilding trust within our industry.

“We remain steadfast in our mission to provide reliable and efficient moving services, even during uncertain times. To be recognised for this, in any capacity, is a very nice feeling,” Jord concluded.

The HBREA team said the judging process for the was rigorous and comprehensive, with a panel of esteemed industry experts carefully evaluating each nomination.

Criteria such as innovation, sustainability, customer service, and community engagement were meticulously assessed to determine the finalists.

“The caliber of nominations we received this year was outstanding,” the Judging Panel said.

“It was inspiring to see the passion and dedication of businesses striving for excellence despite the challenges we’ve faced. Selecting the finalists was a difficult task, but it reaffirmed the incredible talent and potential within the Hunter region.”

The winner announcements will unfold on Friday, 24 May at Bean Ean in Pokolbin, where the Hunter Region Business Hub will host their Gala Dinner and reveal the winners.

This venue offers an excellent setting for an evening of celebration and networking as finalists, sponsors, and supporters come together to honour excellence and celebrate success.

“We invite the community to join us at the Gala Dinner as we celebrate the achievements of our finalists and the vibrancy of the Hunter Region business community,” the Awards Team said.

“It’s an occasion not to be missed, where we can come together to applaud success, share stories, and inspire one another.”
