PKF Newcastle and Sydney have today announced the retirement of Audit and Assurance Partner, Martin Matthews, effective 30 June 2025. Martin has been an integral part of the firm for over 10 years, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, dedication, and professional excellence that has significantly contributed to the growth and success of PKF, particularly within its audit and assurance division.
Throughout his tenure, Martin demonstrated consistent and strong leadership, building deep relationships within PKF locally and nationally, as well as within the wider community. His legacy will be remembered for not only his professional achievements but also his personal commitment to balance, managing to seamlessly blend his successful career with his role as a husband to Nerissa and father to Lachlan, Ella, and Sam.
Reflecting on his time at PKF, Martin shared, “PKF has been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some very talented people. The relationships I’ve built here, both with colleagues and clients, have meant the world to me.”
