Newcastle law firm, Keystone Lawyers, has been named State/Regional Firm of the Year at the Australasian Law Awards held in Sydney on 23 May 2019.
The award is a humbling addition to the list of accolades received by the local firm.
Keystone’s Founder and Principal, Lou Stojanovski was also named a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards in the category of construction and infrastructure law held in the same month.
He was the only Hunter based lawyer to make it as a finalist in the Partner of the Year Awards.
Lou said the award nominations are a credit to his hard working team of experts who are passionate about getting the right result for their clients.
“At Keystone we believe that our client’s success is our success,” Lou said.
“Keystone may be regionally based but we provide advice and service as good as anywhere in Australia,” he said.
“For our Newcastle firm to be recognised as the best in the country is very satisfying.”
More than 650 people from across Australia attended the black-tie Australasian Awards gala at The Star in Sydney.
The award caps off a big year for the team at Keystone. It has opened a Sydney office, to serve its growing Sydney based clients as well as local clients who have matters and hearings in Sydney.
Lou also launched the Australian first, Security of Payment SOPA Toolbox App designed to help people in the construction sector to more easily navigate payments.
