People Brands Pty Ltd – the publisher of Coalface Magazine – is planning on launching Hunter Industry News, a new industry print and digital publication across the Hunter region that will support the enterprise and voice of Hunter industry.
General Manager, Julie Wicks, says the purpose of the publication is to champion the Hunter region’s diversity, and to support the range of Hunter industries and their workforces.
Whilst we recognise the resource sector continues to be a key economic driver for our region we wish to also promote our fellow industries that equally support and assist the growth of the Hunter economy,” Julie said.
The new brand will support growth in the region and offer a medium in which all businesses can tell their stories. It will be a medium for B2B and B2C advertising that does not currently exist in the market.
The readership will be all Hunter industries, their workforces and the wider Hunter community. The distribution will be even greater with additional drop offs included such as the Newcastle airport and locations in Port Stephens.
The editorial tone will be similar to Coalface, in promoting stories and news of the industry and community. The tone will seek to go deeper in its narrative of industry and community, with a focus on human angles and business stories.
“We hope that you share in our excitement in what we believe will be an extension of the Coalface brand, which will continue to operate as a sister title to Hunter Industry News,” Julie concluded.
