RBS Morgans recently underwent a branding overhaul, in line with their new alliance with a leading Asian investment bank.
The new partnership has seen them revert to their name of Morgans and a branding change to Morgans in Alliance with CIMB.
Managing Director, Brian Sheahan, said the change reflected the real confidence they have in their business, in the quality of their people and the markets they are in.
“We believe working with CIMB, one of the fastest growing banks in the Asian region, will strengthen our position in the Australasian marketplace and result in a range of new opportunities and benefits for clients,” Brian said. This includes access to CIMB's high quality research that covers over 1,000 stocks across the region and a broader range of corporate offers.”
“This means Morgans clients will have access to the highest quality ASX-listed equities, commodities and economic research reports in addition to proprietary database platforms and research data.”
“We are now facing the Asian century and the alliance with CIMB is well timed to benefit Morgans clients given the growth in markets, M&A business and capital flows, particularly in Asia.”
Brian said while the alliance marked a new era for Morgans, it would continue to focus on its strengths of providing quality advice to its clients.
“Morgans has a 30-year track record helping Australian investors with stockbroking services. Throughout this time, Morgans has developed into Australia's largest national full-service retail stockbroking and wealth management provider, with 330,000 clients and offices spanning all states and territories.”
Morgans has an office in Charlestown, with a team of 24, who offer a wide range of services, including stockbroking, Self Managed Super Funds, superannuation advice, retirement planning and financial planning.
Earlier this year Morgans was awarded the 2013 winner of the Australian Financial Review Smart Investor Blue Ribbon – Full Service Broker of the Year award. This award recognised Morgans as the leading provider of investment, finance, banking, and insurance products and services in Australia.
