New CEO for ConnectAbility

New CEO for ConnectAbility

ConnectAbility Australia this week welcomed their new Chief Executive Officer Bryan McLoughlin.

Bryan comes to the organisation with a wealth of experience in both the not-for-profit and corporate sector and says he is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities presented through the transition of participants to the National Disability Insurance Scheme and a more person-centred model of service delivery.

“Our participants will remain at the centre of our organisation and be empowered to take control over how ConnectAbility support them to live life and meet goals and aspirations,” Bryan said.

“What attracted me to the position was the sense that all staff truly lived the mission and values of ConnectAbility and actively seek opportunities for community inclusion for individuals so that they can continue to be valued members of their communities.”

Bryan’s qualifications in Health Service Management, Human Resource Management and his skills in financial management will support ConnectAbility to remain viable, vibrant and to continue to grow and meet the needs and challenges presented by participants, families and communities.

Through his work in the community sector Bryan has developed a sound understanding of the inherit requirements of delivering quality supports for individuals and families who each have specific and unique aspirations.

Under Bryan’s leadership ConnectAbility will be building on their current and potential networks, partners and community connections to support these individual needs and ensure ConnectAbility remain a leader within the disability sector.

Bryan was most recently the Chief Operations Officer for Hunter Medicare Local, previous to this he was the Regional Director for UnitingCare Ageing | Hunter, Central Coast, New England.

ConnectAbility is a disability services provider supporting over 170 people across the Hunter to achieve their goals and aspirations and be valued and included members of their communities.
