A keen lifelong sailor has taken over the reins of Battery World Toronto, bringing new energy and local expertise to the business.
Having joined the team prior, Hayden Lee is set to take over the reins from long-term franchise Partner, Paul Sheehan as he transitions into retirement.
Hayden’s background in systems, integrations, procurement and business management provides a foundation for running the franchise, with the goal to bring fresh perspectives to operations while maintaining the quality service customers expect.
Hayden’s passion lies firmly on the water, giving him a unique insight into the marine battery needs of locals living in the Lake Macquarie area who share his lifestyle on the water.
“I’m into boats and fishing and sailing and everyone’s got a boat or a caravan or a jet ski or all three,” Hayden said.
Hayden will bring his expertise in deep cycle batteries for boats, power solutions for caravans or reliable batteries for jet skis to the business.
Beyond batteries, Hayden is also looking at meaningful ways for Battery World Toronto to give back to the community.
“I think there’s a great opportunity in some sponsorships and doing some free testing for different clubs,” Hayden said.
Hayden said whilst he settles into ownership, customers can expect the same service and knowledge from Battery World Toronto.
Battery World is a franchise group with 115 stores across Australia, providing access to a range of products for everything from heavy-duty trucks and boats through to vacuums and power banks.
