Hunter real estate agencies, PRDnationwide Newcastle & Lake Macquarie and PRDnationwide Port Stephens, have been recognised nationally for their role in the industry.
At PRDnationwide’s national awards, held in Sydney, the Newcastle office was named the number one office for 2016 out of 115 offices across Australia. Principal for the Newcastle office, Mark Kentwell was named top selling principal, while Dane Queenan from PRDnationwide Port Stephens was awarded number one salesperson for 2016.
PRDnationwide Chairman and Managing Director, Tony Brasier, said Mark and Dane demonstrated initiative, exceptional results and high level customer service during the last 12 months.
“To be named as the number one PRDnationwide selling principal and number one salesperson are very prestigious honours,” Tony said.
“To rise to the top of the highly competitive and constantly changing real estate industry requires hard work, extensive knowledge of the property market and the ability to adapt to new technology.
“We commend Mark and Dane on their success and for the outstanding contribution he has made to our company.”
Mark said the awards were an honour and a credit to the whole team at PRDnationwide Newcastle & Lake Macquarie.
He thanked local clients and developers for their support.
“We strive to be agents of change to better serve clients and it is wonderful to see this hard work recognised,” Mark said.
PRDnationwide Newcastle & Lake Macquarie CEO, Shula Kentwell said the win comes on top of other recent accolades. In February, the agency was ranked in the top 10 in the Real Estate Business (REB) Top 50 Sales Offices national benchmark report. Mark was also ranked as the top real estate agent in regional Australia in 2016 and Australian Regional Principal of the Year in the Australian Real Estate Awards and secured a position in the Real Estate Business (REB) Top 100 Agents. Mark has also been shortlisted for the Regional Principal of the Year Award and Thought Leader of the Year Award in the national 2017 Real Estate Business Awards.
“At the heart of what we do is a consumer based approach supported by innovation, a commitment to training, proven systems and a genuine teamwork,” Shula said.
“Our people are true believers who bring such commitment, energy and conviction to work every day.”
“We strive to be agents of change to better serve clients and it is wonderful to see this hard work recognised nationally,” Mark said.
