Local law firm, Osborn Law has appointed Laura Bennett as its first Senior Associate.
Joining Solicitor Directors Tim Osborn, Christie Howson and Marissa Dimarco, Laura will play a pivotal part in the business’ growth through her presence on the leadership team.
Laura has over 14 years’ experience in the legal profession and has worked with Osborn Law for the past six years, providing their clients with quality service and advice.
Laura specialises in commercial contract negotiations and drafting and regularly assists clients with supply agreements; commercial and retail leases and licence agreements; shareholder and unitholder agreements, share transactions and business sale and purchase agreements; corporate structuring and mergers and acquisitions; large commercial and residential land sale and purchase transactions; and residential and strata subdivisions and consolidations.
Tim Osborn said her appointment was the natural next step for the firm.
“Laura’s appointment to Senior Associate is in recognition of her significant contribution to our team during her time with Osborn Law, as well as her commercial approach to clients, and invaluable mentoring to our younger solicitors,” Tim said.
“She is also a bit of a smart-arse with a dry sense of humour, which adds to our already fun Osborn Law family. Everyone in the team is thrilled for her.

Laura said she is looking forward to her new responsibilities.
