Myrtec will be holding their first Techshop for 2023, aimed at educating business owners on the upcoming advancements in tech, compliance requirements, and cyber security.
These Techshops are lunch and learns designed to facilitate education and networking for the Hunter’s professional services community.
Their upcoming February workshop will discuss ten tips to skyrocket office productivity in Google’s Workspace, as well as Microsoft 365 for both Windows and Mac users.
Myrtec’s goal is for people to leave their Techshops feeling more confident and empowered to make smart business decisions surrounding technology.
Business Development Manager, Rob Dawson said the Myrtec team started hosting educational luncheons to educate both their customers and the wider business community that technology shouldn’t be daunting or complicated, but rather enabling and simple.
“Business technology should be scalable, valuable, and rationalised.
“Our goal is to help businesses put systems in place that they can use effectively,” Rob said.
Account Manager at One Fifty Marketing, Jacqui Miller praised Myrtec’s Techshop series.
“A lot of people find technology overwhelming. I love attending Myrtec’s Techshops because not only do they simplify technical concepts in a digestible way, but they highlight the benefits and outcomes of integrating new technology into your business.
They are a comfortable and relaxed open forum for people to ask questions and learn from tech experts, as well as see what other businesses are doing,” said Jacqui.
Myrtec’s Marketing and Communication Coordinator, Skye Harvey said that the Techshops have begun picking up significant momentum.
“What started as a lunch to connect with our customers, has transcended into a monthly event where people leave asking for the date for the next one.
It’s great to see both new and familiar faces attend, and we love knowing that people are getting value from them,” said Skye.
