Jim’s Pool Care Technician recognised at national awards

James Steltenpool from Jim’s Pool Care Toronto has been named 2020 Franchisee of the Year at the recent Jim’s Franchisee Awards Ceremony.

The Jim’s award ceremony takes the opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of those franchisees who go above and beyond their call of duty and who provide excellent services to all our customers across Australia.

After taking out Franchisee Growth Award last year, Jim’s Pool Care Toronto has continued to go from strength to strength.

James said that it isn’t without the support of the team at Jim’s Pool Care Toronto that he would have been awarded Franchisee of the Year.

“I have always been around the pool industry, so I have kind of just taken the step up from Service Technician to business owner. However, with the support of the Jim’s Pool Care group I have been able to achieve my goals sooner than I expected,” he said.

After tasting success this year during a global pandemic, James explains he wished to continue to look at ways to move forward and grow his business.

“One of the hardest parts of starting a business is the uncertainty. It was daunting at first, asking yourself will I succeed, and will I be profitable? I never had doubts on my ability to do the work, but I was worried that the work would not be there to do!” he explained.

“I want to thank all my regular clients across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie for their support over the past twelve months. I look forward to continuing to support you over the years to come.”

General Manager of Jim’s Pool Care Australia, Brett Blair said he was proud to acknowledge James’ efforts at this year’s awards alongside a strong list of Jim’s Pool Care staff.

“Once again we have had our Pool Care Technicians recognised at the annual awards from around Australia. I am so proud of James Steltenpool for his amazing service and helping pool owners get the most from their swimming pools,” he said.

“James’ success is a testament to his forward-thinking approach to the pool industry. We are lucky to have James in our team and we look forward to watching him grow in the years to come.”

James puts his recent success down to the importance he places on customer service.

“I think anyone that is going through or has been through the Jim’s system knows that customer service is key to a healthy business. Small business thrives on referrals and reviews, and to make sure you get them you need to be providing the best service to your customer,” he said.

“To me, this means providing a friendly and professional service. I make sure that I communicate well with all of my customers, and ensure I exceed their expectations.”

Jim’s Pool Care Toronto is a genuine Mobile Pool Shop service. Services include pool cleaning, regular maintenance, equipment repairs and upgrades, automation, pool heating, inspections, lighting, pool blankets, and robotic cleaners.
