Leading independent business law firm Hall & Wilcox continues to expand its Newcastle presence, having appointed a new senior associate, Natalie Chapman, to its Property & Projects team.
Natalie recently returned to Newcastle after spending five years in Melbourne, where she built and fostered a successful commercial property practice.
She is a commercial property lawyer with experience in complex property transactions, large scale due diligences, leasing (commercial, government and retail), legal advice and various commercial and corporate matters.
Recent work includes acting for the Victorian State Government and for Australia Post on its property and leasing portfolios. Natalie has also acted for major property fund managers and other corporates on acquisitions and management of commercial property throughout New South Wales and Victoria, predominantly Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle.
Hall & Wilcox has built a reputation across property, from fund managers to developers and listed companies, and they believe they are well placed to service the growing property industry in Newcastle and the Hunter.
Hall & Wilcox partner, Natalie Bannister, who is section leader of the firm’s Property & Projects team, said Natalie brings experience and enthusiasm to the national team, with a strong focus on Newcastle.
“Natalie has a great combination of technical skill and experience, which will greatly benefit local clients,” Natalie Bannister said.
“She is dedicated and known for having a practical commercial approach, which has seen her involved in some outstanding property projects. We can see Natalie playing a key role in many Newcastle-based projects to come.”
