Gen Collective is hosting their 4th International Women’s Day (IWD) event to celebrate the powerhouse women we have in our community.
With the generosity of local businesses, Gen Collective has continually brought a stellar line up of national profile guest speakers to their events, including Jessica Rowe, Mia Freedman, and Samantha Armytage.
This year is no different with Gen Collective pulling out all the stops to bring special guest Jodie Fox to Merewether Surfhouse on Friday 12 March 2021.
Jodie Fox built a fashion technology empire that captured the world’s imagination and attention. She was the Co-Founder of online shoe company Shoes of Prey and in 2018 learnt the challenges of losing her business.
Gen Collective’s President, Kate Bernardino said there was no hesitation when choosing Jodie as this years’ guest speaker.
“Jodie Fox is the definition of a powerhouse woman. We are so excited to have her as our guest speaker this year,” Kate said.
Gen Collective has a fun-filled year ahead and is excited to be kicking it off with one of their most regarded events.
“Our IWD with Samatha Armytage was the last event Gen Collective held before we went into lockdown last year. We are so excited to kick start this year with one of our largest events.”
“I think having someone like Jodie talk to our community about hard-won lessons is particularly relevant after the year we just had.”
Gen Collective would like to make a special thanks to the generosity of local businesses who sponsored this event: PKF, Hunter Plastic Surgery, A.I.R Recruitment, Spillane Property, and Rapsey Griffiths Turnaround and Advisory.
Tickets are on sale now for Gen Collective’s International Women’s Day event.
