Verity Leadership and Façon Australia have joined forces to conduct their first Professional Confidence Workshop in Newcastle.
Facilitated by Dr Kirsten Molloy and Creative Director, Lara Lupish, the goal is to help women see and appreciate their own value, returning to our workplaces with a renewed sense of style and confidence.
The workshop will see guests walk away with greater clarity on their professional and personal sense of purpose.
Guests will also gain knowledge of personal presentation, style, and a professional headshot for their CV, social media or other professional requirement. The day will be a fantastic way to create connections with other professionals.
Lara Lupish said it was a great opportunity for participants to walk away with a new headshot, exciting new networking connections and a greater clarity on their purpose, but also the tools they need to look and feel their most confident self.
“As an editor of a fashion magazine, I know first-hand that fashion can change how a person feels about themselves, and I will be bringing what I’ve learnt throughout my career to this workshop,” Lara said.
Dr Kirsten Molloy is an accomplished non-executive Director, Chair and CEO, with experience in the logistics, infrastructure and supply chain industry, resources, engineering and manufacturing. Working most of her career in a male-dominated industry, Kirsten has a unique perspective and passion for equality in the workplace.
“Verity Leadership aims to support leaders to be the best they can be and I replicate the kind of experiences and opportunities that most helped me when I was navigating a corporate career,” Kirsten said.
Lara Lupish is the editor-in-chief of Australia’s number one independent fashion magazine, Façon. She has an extensive background in creative directing and styling and has a passion for helping people find confidence through fashion.
Kirsten and Lara have a great connection and friendship, as well as genuine respect for each other’s career journeys. Together Kirsten and Lara have learnt a lot from each other, and want to share this through the workshop.
The workshop will be held early in June at the Newcastle Museum, 6 Workshop Way, Newcastle NSW 2300 starting 9:30AM and finishing 4:00PM.
