The Enigma Brand Summit, an annual thought leadership conference held in Newcastle, is back for its second year after an overwhelmingly positive response to the inaugural event.
Launching in 2017, with an audience satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5, the key role of the event is to showcase contemporary brand thinking – inviting marketers, students and business leaders to hear from industry experts on all things brand.
According to Enigma Executive Director, Pete Chapman, the event is a natural fit for a city on the move.
“We’re lucky to work with a stable of outstanding clients who see the benefit that building a strong brand can have on long term growth,” Peter said. “We think that the broader business community should be having more conversations like this and we see it as our role to lead those conversations”.
“It’s not only clients that benefit from events like Brand Summit but our staff and the industry at large including the raft of great freelancers, smaller agencies and students coming through our world class University and through TAFE”.
This year, three (soon to be announced) heavy hitting speakers from across the country take the stage to speak specifically to the idea that brands grow from the inside out, focusing on the importance of culture in growing strong brands.
The event is capped at 200 people and is expected to sell out well ahead of the night according to Pete.
“We know the event will sell out, but we like the idea of a hosting world class thinking in a chilled environment where people can move around, have a drink, chat to peers and really be part of the conversation.”
The event will kick off at 5.30 at a venue in Newcastle’s CBD, starting with a drink and chance to network, followed by speakers taking the stage for a keynote presentation and an in-depth audience Q&A panel discussion.
Speakers and venue details will be announced in coming weeks, ahead of early bird tickets going on sale 1 August 2018. Interest can be registered at enigma.net.au.
