It's a reality that in any business there will be risks, but The Stepping Stone Project are striving to help Hunter Region business identify, mitigate and control their risks.
In a seminar scheduled for next week, The Stepping Stone Project is bringing together five thought leaders in the Cornerstones for Managing Risk in Your Business Seminar.
The seminar will cover everything from discussing how to recognise disruptive or psychopathic traits in your staff or business associates, through to the legislation and regulations around duty of care.
Personal safety and armed robbery minimisation techniques, as well as data security will all be discussed by the expert speaker panel.
Larissa Darcy from The Stepping Stone Project says that although risk may be on the radar of many businesses, they don't understand all the areas that are vulnerable.
“Every business has risks, it's how you manage and control them that will put you ahead of the rest,” Larissa said.
Bill Ford of Passive Power agrees and says that he is looking forward to sharing hints and tips for attendees.
“Unfortunately businesses today can be targets of unpredictable attacks and violence,” Bill said.
