Newcastle-based, Cardillo Gray Partners recently launched and have already had success in the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of New South Wales, Court of Appeal on behalf of injured police officers.
Established by local Lawyers, Tony Cardillo and Stuart Gray, the firm is the only one in the region that has a niche focus on the emergency and essential services sectors. This includes the Army, Navy and Airforce, Paramedics, state Police Officers, Australian Federal Police Officers and Patient Transport Officers.
“We have been pleased to see how quickly we have been embraced by the sectors,” Stuart said.
“Although both Tony and I have been practising in this area for a number of years, it seems like a dedicated law firm is something a lot of people were waiting for.”
Between them, Tony and Stuart have over 40 years’ experience in the legal sector, including specialising in this field of law.
“Many of the matters that come up for emergency and essential service specialists are complex, including employment disputes, criminal allegations, pension entitlements, workers compensation and superannuation claims,” Stuart said.
“Our experience means we have runs on the board when it comes to these multifaceted issues. Our clients can be confident that we are up to speed on specific issues that face emergency and essential services workers.”
Cardillo Gray Partners are located in the heart of the revitalised Newcastle CBD area, on the corner of Auckland and Hunter Streets.
The team also has extensive experience in acting for clients from the general public, with respect to a wide range of areas, bringing their expertise to all the cases in which they are instructed.
