Cessnock City Council is bringing Malcolm Auld to Cessnock on 8 May to head up the first of the Business Leadership Workshop Series, Marketing—Back to Basics for Success.
Malcolm Auld is an experienced business leader and a company owner who has consulted and educated executives in 21 countries, successfully turning around a number of multinational direct and digital marketing agencies.
The workshop will cover traditional and digital marketing with top tips on advertising, direct mail, social media, copywriting and more.
Economic Development Manager Jane Holdsworth is excited to be offering Cessnock City businesspeople a chance to upskill and grow their business.
“We understand people are so busy in their businesses, especially smaller organisations who have to juggle the many different hats they have to wear to run their business,” Jane said.
“With so many workshops, seminars and conferences on offer it makes it difficult to decide which one to go to. Many also tell you what you need to do, but not ‘how to do it’, unless there is further cost.”
The Business Leadership Workshops have therefore been designed to give expert advice, with a minimum of five tips and tools from each workshop that can be immediately implemented in businesses to gain more customers, competitive advantage and an improved bottom line.
To further support Cessnock City’s businesses, Council has also organised free business advisory services to assist in implementing the tools and tips from the workshops.
