New Chairman of Dantia

Trent Bagnall has been appointed as the new Chairman of the board of Dantia, the Lake Macquarie Economic Development Company Limited.

Trent will use his skills, knowledge and experience in business, technology and mentoring, along with his commitment to innovation to support Dantia’s role in driving and attracting investment and new businesses to Lake Macquarie City.

“I am honoured that the Board has asked me to take on the role of Chairman,” Trent said. “I look forward to working with the Board and management team to build on the great work of Dantia over the last 12 months and continuing to champion the economic development of the City of Lake Macquarie.”

Trent’s appointment follows the resignation of Edward Crawford as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Dantia. Trent paid tribute to the hard work and contribution provided by outgoing Chairman, who has helped provide a solid foundation for the success of Dantia into the future.

Trent has been a non-executive Director of Dantia since November 2013 and is also currently Director of the Slingshot Accelerator a program founded to encourage innovation in the Hunter. He has been involved in the growth of a number of companies including as Managing Director of ASX listed QMASTOR.

Dantia is the economic development company for Lake Macquarie City. 

Dantia's ultimate aim is to increase jobs and attract investment in Lake Macquarie.
