Newcastle Permanent is extending a Disaster Relief Package to members affected by bushfires throughout New South Wales, including the Hunter, Central Coast, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie and Blue Mountains areas.
Following the bushfire destroying and damaging to homes in affected areas, Newcastle Permanent is offering a range of solutions and product concessions to help members affected by the disaster.
Newcastle Permanent CEO, Terry Millett, urged members to contact their local branch team or the Member Support Centre to discuss their options.
“We have many members in the bushfire affected areas and we want them to know that this package is here to help them ‚Äì just call us to see which concessions apply, because it may reduce the pressure they’re facing now,” Terry said.
Some of the concessions or solutions include restructuring loan repayments to assist members restore their homes or replace damaged items, access to additional loan repayments or funds in Term Deposits, and range of concessional interest rates and fee waivers on personal, home and business loans, and credit cards, to assist members obtain additional funds through new loans or existing facilities.
“Members who need assistance should contact their local Newcastle Permanent team or our Member Service Centre so they can identify which options would help in their individual situation.”

This assistance package is available immediately to members within the Hunter, Central Coast, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie and Blue Mountains areas and will remain in place until at least 30 November 2013.
