PKF has announced the appointment of Stephanie Brown as a Principal in its Newcastle tax team, further strengthening the firm’s ability to deliver practical, forward-thinking advice to clients across the Hunter.
With 20 years of experience in tax, accounting, and law, Stephanie brings a unique combination of technical capability, industry knowledge, and human insight to her new role. Her career spans time at top-tier firms including KPMG and PwC, alongside roles in the not-for-profit sector and commercial law. Stephanie will work closely with PKF’s growing portfolio of clients, offering tax advisory services grounded in deep technical knowledge and a genuine care for people. Her ability to navigate both the detail and the bigger picture makes her a natural fit for the Principal role, and an exciting addition to the Newcastle leadership team.
“What drew me to PKF was the culture – there’s a real emphasis on personal relationships and practical problem solving,” Stephanie said. “It’s a firm that values both technical expertise and being present for your clients, and that really resonates with how I like to work. I’m excited to join a team that’s collaborative, community-minded, and committed to helping people succeed.”
David Pring, Partner of Tax at PKF, said Stephanie’s appointment was a strategic move to meet growing demand from clients and business owners seeking a trusted advisor who can work across complex issues with care and clarity.
“Stephanie is exactly the kind of leader we want in our team – she’s smart, grounded, and brings a wealth of knowledge that spans accounting, tax, and law,” David said. “But beyond that, she’s someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and understands the value of building lasting relationships. We’re thrilled to welcome her to PKF.”
