Myrtec has announced their upcoming June Techshop which aims to teach business owners tips and tricks to help streamline their work and improve internal workflows.
Delivered by the Myrtec team, the Techshop is designed to teach best practices for using Google Workspace.
The team will explore the various features and applications within Google Workspace and share how to use these tools to improve communication, manage projects, and collaborate with team members more effectively.
Myrtec Business Development Manager, Rob Dawson said the company hosts monthly Techshops as a unique value add for their customers, but they encourage the wider business community to come along for a taste of what they are all about.
“We try to cover a range of topics across our Techshops so there is something for everyone,” Rob said.
“Education is only one element of a Techshop. There’s also professional development, networking and lunch away from the office with harbour views.”
Verve Conveyancing Principal, and previous attendee of Myrtec’s Techshops, Di Cooke praised the Techshop series.
“Myrtec’s Techshops allow me to step out of the office and work on my professional development alongside like-minded business owners,” Di said.
“Rob’s presentations always break down sophisticated concepts, such as cyber security and process automation into bite-sized pieces of wisdom that I can apply to improve my business, thereby creating a better experience for my own clients.”
Myrtec Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Skye Harvey said the company will continue to challenge IT norms and deliver out-of-the-box technical solutions.
“If we invited everyone to a two-hour IT training session, it’s unlikely that anyone would nominate themselves to come along,” Skye said.
“Throw in networking, free food and drinks and our signature Myrtec cupcakes and suddenly I am searching for a bigger venue six months into the year,” Skye said.
