New Greater Executive lead change

Craig Newham has been appointed as the Greater Building Society’s Head of Marketing and Distribution.

CEO Scott Morgan said Craig has forged an impressive career in the financial services sector having worked in various similar leadership positions with other financial institutions.

Scott said Craig’s appointment completes his new Executive team after a review of roles to ensure The Greater continues to meet customers’ changing needs.

Marie Hanson-Kentwell joined The Greater in July as the Head of People and Process Transformation. Marie has worked in human resource roles for companies such as Qantas, Lend Lease and most recently, Wyong Council.

In the same month, Craig Chapman, who has worked for The Greater for five years, was promoted to the role of Head of Customer Support Services.

Scott said the Executive and Board has completed a new vision, five pillar strategy and transformation plan, Blueprint for Change, in recognition that banking and customer’s expectations are changing dramatically.

“We are creating a customer owned business that is adaptable so it can continually evolve to remain relevant and sustainable,” Scott said.

“We have a very skilled, energetic and experienced leadership team to support the high performance culture needed to continue to offer our customers outstanding but simple, straightforward banking services.”

“We will focus on deepening current customer relationships and deliver banking solutions that genuinely help our customers and communities, for generations to come.”
