Lambourne Partners tees-off to support Jenny’s Place

Great weather and a full field set the pace for the 2016 Lambourne Partners Charity Golf Day in October.

The Golf Day was held at Newcastle Golf Club on Friday, 21 October 2016 with the assistance of golfing great, Jack Newton and plenty of support from sponsors including St George Bank, National Australia Bank, Australia Wide Fire Supplies, Allweld Services, Wilson Pharmacy and Rapsey Griffiths.

Fundraising on the day meant that the Lambourne teams were able to present $12,100 to Jenny’s Place, to help support local families escaping domestic violence.

“Lambourne Partners has held a charity golf day for the past five years raising more than $60,000,” Partner, Stephen Lambourne, said.

“Each year our team chooses a local charity, that does not receive government funding, to provide the funds. We chose a cause that contributes to the local community and we are very pleased to support the work Jenny’s Place in assisting people to escape domestic violence.”

The generous donation was also made possible with the assistance of Paymasters Restaurant, Australia Wide Fire Supplies, Raine & Horne Commercial, Kentan Machinery and Newcastle Golf Club who made prize donations and to Shaw Gidley and Macey Insurance for their very generous donations to the cause.
