Newcastle-based creative experience agency, Engima has announced the promotion of Emma Ashworth to the role of Executive Director.
Enigma houses creative, media, brand strategy and design, with offices in Newcastle, Sydney, and Brisbane.
Founder of Enigma, Lisa Sutton Gardner said Emma joined the company as a Group Account Director during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 and has since become an integral part of their team.
“Having Emma join our team was a bright moment during a tricky period in our 30-year evolution,” Lisa said.
“During this time Emma has gone on to take leadership of key accounts as well as a guiding hand in the development of the client services team.
“She is highly regarded by everyone on the team, her clients and her recent promotion to Executive Director is well deserved and celebrated.”
Emma currently leads a portfolio of clients at Enigma including Newcastle Permanent, SunRice, Red Energy and Blackwoods.
Speaking about her experience at Enigma, Emma said she has enjoyed being part of the team during a pivotal time for the business.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Enigma whilst we redefine the agency’s proposition and position in the highly competitive agency marketplace,” Emma said.
“Being able to work with Lisa and the whole executive team has been amazing, and I’m looking forward to taking on this more senior leadership role within the agency.”
Emma brings agency experience from Sydney and three years with Enigma to the new position, having previously worked as Group Account Director and Business Partner.
